MTP: John is backpeddling, socialism, spreading the wealth...
Shown his earlier statements on "sharing the wealth", he's practically speechless.

Challenged by the socialistic aspects of his own mortgage plan, he justifies it in some pretty contradictory ways to his stump rhetoric.

I guess it's in the best interest of responsible homeowners for the government to buy up foreclosed homes, property values-wise.

To bad he doesn't feel the same way about health care, isn't it in my best interest that my neighbor's family isn't driven out of their home by absurd medical costs and unaffordable insurance?

3. He was a bit more like his predecessor this morning...
With showing John video and asking him to contrast his past statements with his present bullshit, yes, not bad.

John's voice got kinda high and his head went back and his shifty bullshit smile appeared as he tried to explain how he was right then AND he's right now.

Pretty poor performance by McCain, better performance than expected by Brokaw.

2. They call a "Windfall Profits 'Tax'" a "Royalty".
Yes they will convolute their arguments and invoke bizarre semantics to justify their contradictions.

4. It was funny
Brokaw said the bailout and his mortgage plan was essentially socialism. His defense was that he was doing this stuff because it's needed in rough economic times. But yet, Obama is the evil socialist for his plans. :eyes:
