People on the edge of their seats well into the wee hours of the morning and beyond. All of that advertising....all of that money.

Think about the MSM warrooms the past two weeks (perhaps since the debates) - "we are going to have to call this thing really early - people will be turning off - we are going to lose a fortune".

Any wonder that it is so, so important for them to pray for some kind of McMiracle so that this thing tightens up? Any wonder why they are trying so hard to spin this thing to some sort of horse race?

1. Endless campaigns are good for the economy
After Nov. 4, state economies are going to take another hit. Think of all the jobs necessary to the campaign - in addition to those staffers on the campaign, there are food deliveries, diner visits, media printing and mailing, button factories etc. -- and don't forget wardrobe sales.
