Now folks, please read the short letter below which is my latest response to R hate-mailers. This is how you do it. Sure, it won't change their minds or tactics, but this is a matter of PRINCIPLE and INTEGRITY. Dems need to return to being the TOUGH party of Truman and JFK once and for all. Have backbone, be TOUGH, and stand firmly by your principles. NEVER, EVER back down. NEVER, EVER let an attack go unanswered. I have seen some D toughness this time around; a better prez campaign than the last two. We need MORE. I urge Dems to work hard and FIGHT hard to the end. Don't let the ReTHUGlicans get away with anything. By the way, below is actually my 2nd snail mail letter to the Maine R's, and I have also left two strongly worded phonecall messages for their Executive Director. And, for those who haven't seen it, Tinklenberg just hit crazy-Bachman HARD in MN in the wake of her radical McCarthy-like comments. This is the way you run !


"Dear Maine Republican Party,

Thank you for sending me the enclosed item of radical right wing propaganda which I am now returning to you in a very deserving condition (torn to shreds). This item reminded me that it was to time make yet another donation to the Obama For President campaign. Rest assured that all of your radical, lying robo calls, hate-mailers, and other pathetic tactics have prompted thousands of good Maine Democrats, Independents, and even moderate Republicans (no doubt soon to be FORMER Republicans) to do exactly the same. So thank you for spending so much of your time and resources energizing and EXPANDING the Obama For President base here in Maine (and across the nation as the same is being done all over as you well know). The more hateful propaganda you send out, the higher Sen. Obama’s poll numbers climb, and all the more cash flows into his coffers. You are doing us a wonderful service while at the same ensuring that thousands of Mainers and millions of Americans will never, ever again vote for a Republican in their lives. Enjoy the royal butt-kicking you are about to suffer at polls.
