Did your signature change between the time you finished high
school and the time you finished college? Mine did and my kid's did. Now his ballot in Florida is being questioned because the signatures don't match. Typical Republican bullshit. My driver's license signature is nine years old and I don't write the same either.

1. My signature changes pretty radically even now.
Depending upon how much of a hurry I am in AND whether or not legibility is really important or I'm just putting my name in a book or something (I sometimes loan texts to students).

3. Mine has definitely changed but it matches my driver's license.
I used to have beautiful penmanship but then I got a job where two things happened; 1) I had to sign 100's of receipts at a time 2) I started using a computer all the time and stopped writing on a regular basis. Now I sometimes forget how to write...

7. My uncle worked for IBM. He used to write notes on his computer
and then copy them out longhand to send to people.

6. Mine certainly did!
First off, I got married!

So not only did my signature change because my writing did, but also because my name did! :eyes:

Typical Republican bullshit, for sure!

:grr:

9. Big time. I had to re-learn to write this Spring.
I am currently unable to write cursively, so I sign my name in block capital letters.

10. Sure did!
It change a lot. When I was in high school I came up with this cool way of making a capital "D". After a while I realized it was stupid, and looked more like an "F".

So yes a lot different.

17. He received a letter he has to reply to, providing all sorts of
information and another signature. This is a voter supression tactic, these mail-in or drop off ballots are new. He dropped his off Monday which was the first day one could. I must admit that his signature has gotten horrible, worse than mine.

19. All the men in my family can only print, so their signatures are ridiculous...
We'll see what happens in PA this year ~ yikes!

Sorry that happened to your son, but at least he'll know why it's critical to be involved ~ good in the long run!

16. Medical conditions can change a signature as well
Arthritis for example, can change one's signature.

And, we can bet that McCain's signature is drastically different than it was when he was in high school, first joined the military, or was first elected to office all those years ago.

Let's compare the signatures on his two marriage licenses and see if they are the same. ;)

18. Certainly
All that note-taking in college...

Also, I had breast cancer surgery on my right side (I'm right-handed) over a decade ago. A lot of tissue was taken out under my arm & my signature permanently changed afterward.

20. my SIGNATURE hasn't changed all that much...
it is the SPELLING of my name that occasionally has less letters...i look at my signature some times, and wonder what it spells...how do you leave out letters in your own name?

21. My "signature" turned into an unidentifiable squiggle sometime in college
But in high school, it had letters and everything. It's actually weird to see something I signed from back then - like seeing an old picture with a different hairstyle.

22. Document what happened. Take names. Report it to the Obama campaign
and the Democratic Party in Florida.

These problems are being compiled and will help us fight the many Republican techniques of reducing Democratic vote counts.

I had no idea the ridiculous "exact match" voter registration requirements would extend to a signature looking different!

But apparently those same "exact match" requirements that are only in some states and not all, could purge Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for registering without his middle initial if that was on his driver's license or social security or other official record.

That is one of the awful Republican tricks this time. Supposedly to prevent that rampant problem of fake registrations (0.00005%?), Republicans managed to write that exact match crap into a few states.

on how I am writing that day, it can be complete and lovely or short and shitty.

27. As I have gotten older, I have developed a slight hand tremor.
And it is sometimes hard to sign or write anything. And if someone is staring at me while signing, and I know they are going to compare it, I get nervous and the shaking gets worse. Thankfully, in my state, I don't have to sign anything to vote.

28. My signature is basically the same
Strange fact, my signature closely resembles my mother's, she had passed some 30+ yrs ago.

When I do write, I print everything, my signature is the only time I use cursive writing.
