kind of reminiscent of the Palin pick, even though McCain is still trying to convince us it was his choice!!

Just like most DUers I consider myself a political junkie and a walking encyclopedia for less interested friends and family and the thought of this has never crossed my mind.

I literally got chills reading it and then thinking about it.

I would say Eisenhower is the last Republican.....but wasn't Nixon his Veep??

Nixon owes his entire political career to the Bush Crime Family. They recruited him to run for Congress in 1946. And Ike was one of Grandpa Prescott's "golfing buddies".
