I'm pretty sure if Palin keeps the clothing that was purchased for
her by the RNC, she will have to recognize that as taxable income.

But if the IRS were to question this, especially with Obama in charge, look for her to cry foul and use it as a talking point on the RW talking tour.

That money from Alaska should also be taxable since the code is pretty clear that these types of reimbursements are taxable events. Especially taking a spouse or others not directly related to the "business" nature of the trip.

Either way she is being boxed in.

I'm more concerned about the trip money for her kids. That should be taxable.

3. We should use the word hypocrit at every opportunity. And also REFORM.
And get RWers to wonder: if, for some reason, we say that her position makes this kind of FREE (to her) largesse appropriate, what other largesse do such people get that we never hear about?
