Not that I CARE, mind you.

But it's hilarious the way McCain treats being called the same as Bush as being the same as Hitler or something. GWB's own party have openly disowned him, former member of his cabinet are endorsing the other party's guy.

I bet poor Curious George is one sad little monkey.

like the plague.

7. I doubt that. Rich and happy are two very different things.
His "legacy" as one of the worst presidents of all time will be around a lot longer than he is. I find it hard to believe that that doesn't bother him at least a little.

28. Nope. I'll bet that puppy is already on the market (the ranch that is).
If it hasn't been sold already.

It was all for show, the marketing of a candidate as a "good old boy." Northing but a backdrop to support an illusion.

Come to think of it, I read several months ago that Laura was house-hunting in Dallas or Houston. Bushbaby made a joke about it at a private fundraiser.

6. It's really kind of odd.
They treat him like yesterday's news but still pander to his hard-right evangelical coalition, who cheer when he says "I'm not George Bush."

I don't get it.

8. All he cares is that he got his and had a good time doing it
If self image was an issue for him, he would have not had so many failures in life.

10. He's had a lifetime of practice coping with failure.
He'll shrug it off, the way all arrogant narcissists do, and find some rationalization for why he's right and the rest of the world is wrong.

11. He is lacking the empathy gene, so it goes right over his tiny little head.
I still find it hard to believe that such a human reject has been our so called president the past 8 years. One of the major blots on our country's history, that's for sure.

14. I think he's so thrilled that he and Cheney haven't been impeached.
That any other problems pale in comparison.

He's probably delighted that the Dems wimped out on impeachment. Yee haw for him !

16. I get the sense that no one tells him.
Any normal, non-functioning-moron might be inclined to be introspective and thoughtful at this point but bush very likely hasn't been told that people don't like him, and if he has been told he probably doesn't possess the mental capacity to care. As for Cheney, he and his brood are laughing all the way to the bank so the joke is likely on us there :(

17. He doesn't think about things like this. He doesn't think. Period.
The country could be going to hell in a handbasket (which the economy is) and he's totally clueless. He doesn't have an opionion on anything, including his legacy, unless they give him script to read.

18. mostly he is in denial, but when he has to follow the future events with his
political minded family, it will finally dawn on him. PS, i don't think that Jeb could overcome the W legacy. It is bad enough for mccain, can you imagine what that campaign would be like, especially after a successful Obama presidency???

This one's the one where Cartman finally takes his bullying too far with Wendy, who's trying to raise breast cancer awareness, and she finally calls him out to a schoolyard fight after school.

Cartman tries to play it off as not wanting to put a girl in the hospital, but the real truth is that he's afraid of being beat up by a girl in front of the entire school, so he brings out his entire sociopathic bag of tricks to try to weasel out of the fight. He tries to apologize to Wendy, but she rebuffs him and demands he apologize in front of everyone. He literally eats his own underwear. He craps on the teacher's desk to get himself in detention to avoid the fight, but that only results in the fight being rescheduled to the next morning. Then he goes crying to his mom (Cartman can literally turn his tears on and off like a switch), who goes to Wendy's parents, resulting in her being dressed down and forced to stand down. Cartman then continues his bullying, mocking Wendy's work for breast cancer awareness, and the school principal asks her if she's going to get in a fight, then reveals that she's a breast cancer survivor and give a wink-wink-style nod to her picking the fight.

So Wendy goes right out there, picks the fight with Cartman and beats him to a bloody pulp. Cartman's humiliated in front of EVERYONE - beaten up by a girl.

Here's where I get to my actual point. Here's the amazing thing. He takes his sociopathic thing, and JUST KEEPS GOING. He just switches to this act about how he's humiliated, but he's touched by how everyone's still giving him support (directly in the face of people saying "No, our opinion of you can't get any worse." "We always thought you were lame.") and gets right back up.

Yeah. W's pretty much just like Cartman. He'll take all the humiliation we can throw at him, with a shit-eating grin, and go right back to being sociopathic.

He probably still thinks he is always right and will be redeemed in the history books. It's sad to me that he probably doesn't feel any remorse for the damage he has done to this country.

They of course, let him have his speech after the hurricane business, but he supposedly felt he wasn't being given due respect,
