Edited on Mon Oct-20-08 11:12 AM by holiday
Everytime she opens her mouth.

But this one time in particular, sorry I don't have the articles.

1. when the media brought up the Tina Fey impersonation she tried to say that she dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween. Seriously who dresses up for Tina Fey for Halloween? She made it sound like it was a couple of years ago. Really? I think she was just trying to say "neener neener boo boo, I make fun of you too Tina Fey".

Then again recently, just before she went on SNL she was saying again (and I think Todd did too).. That she impersonates Fey. Again it's so juvenile, like she is really getting Tina Fey back, but you know it's horse shit. She lies about stupid stuff.

1. Well... I was in Alaska the year she dressed up as Palin for Halloween...
... I know that it happened. She did it because she is told ALL THE TIME how the resemblence is uncanny, not to make fun of Tina Fey.

Anything negative she says about Tina is 1) only recent and 2) only because Tina's been busting her chops.

There's so much to make fun of her about, but this isn't one.

3. Interesting. I was thinking the same way as the OP, but this puts
it in perspective.

I know Palin's a liar, but it's good to know she's not lying about a stupid costume for God's sake.

4. But how would you dress up as Tina Fey?
There's nothing particularly distinctive about her clothing or hair...

6. I know.. How do you dress up as Tina Fey?
And even if it's true, it's the way she says it. You can tell she actually is bothered by getting made fun of. She is uses to people in Alaska kissing her ass because she is "hot" *barf*

7. That's why it was funny. Easiest Halloween costume EVER.
I think all she did was wear her hair a little different. People come up to her and say, "Where's your costume?!" She says, "I am in costume. I'm Tina Fey!"

14. Actually a lot of people in Alaska got a kick out of it.
Edited on Mon Oct-20-08 11:23 AM by Lucky 13
People had joked with her about her resemblance to Fey for sometime. I think I even recall a blurb in the local paper about it.

Stuff like this just frustrates me. We can spend time researching whether Palin actually dressed up as Fey for Halloween and debate whether it was "ha ha" funny or irony funny or stupid funny or not funny at all...

... but seriously, is this worth our time?

2. How would she impersonate Tina Fey...
She would have to let her hair down, change her accent, and say smart things.

16. I think people got a kick out of it.
I think it was a running joke for sometime how much Palin looked like Fey. So for her to go as Fey for Halloween made some people chuckle.

Whatever. She's lame. We already know that. But we got better things to talk about than Halloween costumes from years ago.

12. Palin makes things up as she goes along. Because she has not been
in 'total' public view for long, she hasn't had time to really say something that Republicans or Democrats can say is absolutely indefensibly stupid. She has said really stupid stuff but if given enough time will say something that will have even Republicans scratching their heads. :dem:

13. Exactly. There's no way to dress up "as Tina Fey" for halloween. Her glasses are her only
trademark. And I'm sorry, but I don't see Palin doing something like that.. no one would get it for one thing. It's like dressing up like Laura Bush. How would you make it obvious that that's who you were dressing up as? Not funny. Stupid.

17. No. It is just a predictable boring joke. Yuck Yuck. I'm going as Tina for Halloween.
Yuck Yuck.
See I'm pretending to be her pretending to be me.
Yuck Yuck.

No outrage needed. No big mystery or twist.
Just more of the look at me, I'm normal, I can laugh at myself stuff.

18. actually, that part of this is sad...
Palin was put into an awful spot- even if her reactionary stupidity earns her contempt, the pigmedia made George Bush junyer, outta thin air, and now they are exploiting Sarah, to further their own careers, and so they can claim 'hey, lookit, we are defying the republican party!'
Sarah Palin's very lack-of-intelligence/wit politically gives her something like innocence- she's like one of those wolves trying to flee across the tundra from giggling asswipes with guns in a 180 Cessna....
we should keep eyes on the ball:

"We're fighting against pure evil, my friends"
Posted by TOJ
The worst storm in memory attacks our shores. The federal government, despite repeated warnings, does nothing to prepare for evacuation or repair.

the alleged leader of the country continues his vacation, complete with golf, campaign events, and photo-ops, while thousands of US citizens face an ugly death. The people he put in charge of emergency services do nothing.

Finally, after three days, the leader interrupts his vacation to meet with the local leadership. Does he offer condolences and help? No, instead he attempts to blackmail the local leaders into taking all the blame for his failings. When these people, who are fighting for the lives of their friends and neighbors, and probably haven't slept for nearly a week, tell him to take his blackmail and shove it up his stupid, lazy, corrupt ass, he sics his media hordes on the VICTIMS of the disaster.

Satan has come to the US. We're fighting against nothing less than pure evil.
