And it goes on . . .

Obvioulsy, these people are all terrorists, too.

Colin Powell:

"And one picture at the tail end of this photo essay was of a mother in Arlington Cemetery, and she had her head on the headstone of her son's grave. And as the picture focused in, you could see the writing on the headstone. And it gave his awards--Purple Heart, Bronze Star--showed that he died in Iraq, gave his date of birth, date of death. He was 20 years old. And then, at the very top of the headstone, it didn't have a Christian cross, it didn't have the Star of David, it had crescent and a star of the Islamic faith. And his name was Kareem Rashad Sultan Khan, and he was an American. He was born in New Jersey. He was 14 years old at the time of 9/11, and he waited until he can go serve his country, and he gave his life.

Now, we have got to stop polarizing ourself in this way. And John McCain is as nondiscriminatory as anyone I know. But I'm troubled about the fact that, within the party, we have these kinds of expressions."

Thank you General Powell for speaking out, but seriously, this young man died defending a whole lot of people, including a certain Alaskan governor, who think he might have possibly been a terrorist. John McCain might be "as nondiscriminatory as anyone" but he's at the head of the party you speak of.

It might be politic to refer to those "within the party" but McCain is the party.

If John McCain has any sense of honor at all he will denounce this extreme, dangerous rhetoric once and for all and rein in his bulldog. This has got to stop.

I can't of anything more unpatriotic. And the media's take on this whole thing. which seems to be, 'they all do it,' equating Dems making fun of Palin with his crowds calling for Obama' head, is simply unconscienable and has far more to do with destroying the fabirc of our democracy than anything ACORN could ever hope to accompilsh.

Let's get real here. This isn't the country I grew up in!

Shame on you John McCain, you're making the George W. Bush era look like the good old days.
