i'm new to the DU site...freaking great site, thanks to all the members!

anyhow, there is most def alot of passion here and i love it! but don't forget the real enemy is geo bush!

please keep the internal debate civil...unlike our repub friends.

i saw mary beth cahill for the first time yesterday (after getting hundreds of emails from her) and i have to admit my first impression was not that great, but kick her out? not sure on that one...even if it would be the best thing to do, it would not be pragmatic to air an internal debate while behind in the polls etc and at this point in the race.

you try to be right because you try to be right, not because you want others to salute you.

i was as hard on dem. strategist and his/her "kerry judo-chessmanship strategy" as anyone on this site last month, but i'll be damned if i would ask others now to apologize and tell me i was right.

last month, i listened to those who disagreed with me, digested it, analyzed it, and disagreed with much of it. and now i am to ask for apologizes from those who thought i was wrong then?

No way. First of all, the Bushies just had their convention...it was a foregone conclusion they would have a jump. Mary Beth Cahill has been at the forefront of winning campaigns...there's no need to apologize for her missteps on this. She's still a good effective campaign manager even if she was not as effective as she should have been on a herculean effort as worthy as anything Goebbels ever did ( Rove and SBVTS).

For those for whom Kerry was not their first choice ( and you did wrap your animosity that Clark did not win the primaries in your criticisms in the past) you might wish to remember that Cahill was part of the team that had Kerry win what was one of the more contentious primaries ever.
