News from Ohio about Kerry
I talked with my mom yesterday. She lives in rural eastern Ohio, not far from Newark. She said that Kerry stopped to shake hands with well-wishers in the little town of Mount Vernon and other towns along his route, even though he wasn't scheduled to stop. Apparently there were so many Kerry supporters lining the route he made extra stops.

This is a very, very conservative part of the country. I was so happy to hear that people in Mount Vernon waited for hours for a chance to cheer Kerry's bus as it drove through - and so happy to hear that he stopped and shook hands for a little while - I almost cried.

Don't let the corporate-owned "polls" and blackmailed talking heads get you down. Kerry is going to win this election - he's going to win big.

The Bushes can fool some of the people some of the time, but this is still America, and they can't fool everybody.

8. I love these types of threads
They give me hope. There is so much energy and passion from the Democratic side that isn't close to being matched from our reptile friends. I'm sure that there will be a record turnout to get Kerry into office.
