I had read a transcript and thought to myself, "Geez this guy is fucked up." But then I saw a video of the speech and was even more freaked out. On the Daily Show they had the interview with Chris Matthews and it was so hilarious and also frightening.

The thing that also freaked me out is that the delegates were cheering like crazy. I think if I saw someone giving a speech about George Bush that utterly insane I would feel uncomfortable, even though I hate Bush's guts with every fiber of my being. I would be thinking "You're making us look like lunatics, just shut up." But then again, I guess that's because I have a mind of my own and can form complete thoughts without someone telling me what I should think.
