I'd love to see them put Palin on the defensive in her home turf.

9. Exactly. Pundits still talking about how she is loved by 63% of the electorate there (at least the
percentage has been lowered to the "correct" percentage.) AND, other Alaskans have posted here about how Obama has been so well received there! I think it would be GREAT for him to go there, be greeted by throngs of people, and that be broadcast on television.

3. I think it would be a great "up yours" to Palin.
Heck, they're gonna go to North Dakota and Montana. Not many electoral votes either.

5. I think Montana is do-able with Schweitzer as gov...
but don't know much about ND. Is it in the running or flaming red?

6. I thought Obama pulled out of ND recently.
But they must know something to make it worth their while to campaign there again. To me it must mean it's in the running.

7. It consumes a whole day, but it would really mess with their heads
And it would show how serious he is about seeking a mandate. He's already campaigning in red, red states so I say do it - hit them where it will hurt them like nothing else. Then drop into Phoenix - on the way back.
