Follow up to my question about Obama's internal polling
I talked to a paid Obama campaign field coordinater here this time in Montgomery County, PA, and that supposed 2% Obama lead from Obama's internal polling is real, but not national. It is supposedly 2% in PA. Could explain why Obama has been here a lot, but I think the number is given just to rally supporters. How could ALL those double digit PA leads be wrong?

1. No real field coordinator is going to give you that information
If he said he was, he's not.

2. I think PA is closer than the polls show, but not 2% close.
Maybe Obama up 5-8 points.

I will eat my hat if he wins it by more than 10 points.

3. He IS a real field coordinator

It's a question of if he should be giving that info or not, and if it is real. I still can't believe it.

He said the outside polling of PA is absolutely wrong. OK, it could be. But 2%?!

5. Well, I don't know. I didn't cause a fuss
I was there to be helpful, and he seemed sincere. But I wonder who is really feeding him this info.?

6. This person doesn't have that info
This is a story that was emailed to a group of PA coordinators by an overzealous campaign worker for motivational effect.

It was a rogue mailing, and used made up numbers to try and keep people from getting complacent.
