So please, correct me if I'm wrong about these statements - re: 'Joe the Plumber'
#1) Joe isn't really a plumber, he's not licensed to plumb
#2) Joe is somehow related to Charles Keating
#3) Joe has never made $250k and is no where even close to losing all his money to taxes but would actually gain money under Obama's plan
#4) Does it really matter about taxes with Joe since it seems he doesn't pay them anyways?
#5) McCain is betting his political career that somehow Joe is going to pull out a win by mentioning Joe's name 21 times during a debate (and 4 nods by Obama too)
#6) McCain vetted Joe the same way he Vetted Sarah Palin cause clearly this is all gonna blow in Joe AND John's face.

7. Joe might be related to Keating
He might be related to Robert Wurzelbacher, who is related to Keating. Or he might be related to a Wurzelbacher in Wasilla. Or might be related to both. I'm not sure we have a 100% on that.

The rest looks right though.

Even though he has two parents either already collecting it, or about to.

10. Joe also owes $2,000 in back taxes
And he lied about belonging to the local plumber's union.

Also, he knows he'll save money with Obama, but is worried about all the poor rich who'll have to pay their fair share.

In short, he's a typical Repug voter. He votes against his own best interests.

15. I found that to be an odd fact from the part of rural pennsylvania where I grew up
We were not wealthy people where I lived and for many of us in rural PA, Social Security, Food Stamps, Welfare, Medicare, Medicaid and a host of other government programs where used to make ends meet (even my family collected SocSec after my father passed away).

These are all programs that were created by democrats (correct me if I'm wrong though) and they help all people, not just those who live in certain parts of the country or of specificial race, creed, religion, etc. etc. And yet the many of these folks I knew from rural PA would rather chew off the hand they use to collect government handouts than to actually vote for the party that would help ensure these benefits continue. It's all about Guns, Gods and unfortunately like what Murtha said, a bit of race too. I swear for some of these people government handouts are bad only if you're a person of color living in an urban area, not poor white trash living in rural pennsylvania.

Go figure

Joe the Plumber.

You know him. He's the brawny, bald, middle-class guy who doesn't know whether he's registered to vote by party and won't tell you whom he'd vote for, anyway.

John McCain mentioned Joe the Plumber 21 times in Wednesday night's final presidential debate. Barack Obama mentioned him five times.

While Joe the Plumber could be a metaphor for the state of the American psyche, he's actually a real guy named Joe Wurzelbacher -- and he's enjoying his 15 minutes of fame, spread out over the third week before the 2008 election.

Joe says he just hopes he doesn't embarrass himself.

"Right now I'm flabbergasted with this. I hope I'm not making too much of a fool of myself and get a message out there -- learn for yourself," he said. "You know, repeating myself here, I'm a flash in the pan ... It's going to be fun, then it's going to go away."

Joe Wurzelbacher will appear on FOX News Channel's "Huckabee" program in an exclusive primetime interview Saturday at 8 p.m. ET. The show will re-air on Sunday night, also at 8 p.m. ET. Wurzelbacher will appear on the program with his son and father.
