LOL! AOL Poll..... Should McCain Bring Up Ayers and Do You Care About Ayers!
Edited on Wed Oct-15-08 01:10 PM by OmmmSweetOmmm
Now remember, most AOL polls go very much to the right!

What I find fascinating about the result of the post is that the majority want McCain to bring Ayers up. I wonder if included in that are Obama supporters who want to see McShame fall flat on his face?

http://news.aol.com/elections/debates/article/mccain-to-mention-ayers-in-debate/211203?icid=200100397x1211620808x1200706869

Should McCain bring up Ayers in the debate?
Yes 52%
No 48%

Is the Ayers issue one that you care about?
No 60%
Yes 40%

1. I want to hear about things that do NOT matter to me!
Aparently, that is the position of 8% of the people answering the poll.

12. Well, I can understand it. I would like McCain to bring up Ayers because I want to
see Barack give him the beat down on the subject. I don't give a shit about the subject itself, I'm just sick of hearing McCain talk about it when Barack isn't around to call him out.

6. lol! Just corrected that! Yikes! I am eager to watch the debate
and dread it at the same time. I have felt that way about the 3 previous ones too. My stomach goes out on me.

7. Exactly. Excited in a good way yet anxious because we don't know quite
how it will go.

Although I must say, I was giving McCain better marks than the rest of the country, apparently. Whenever he said something that I thought would resonate with voters I'd go "damn!" and get a little worried. Hopefully tonight, the country again will be smarter than McCain's speechwriter.

Pundits are saying that he has to get back that vibe he had at Camelback, but I think and hope he'll be under too much pressure to come across as confidently.

Also, heard where they were sitting down which is a bummer. No more "lurching" around the stage, which was distracting and disturbing.

I can't remember the first debate -- were they sitting or standing -- do you remember?

4. So most people want it brought up but they don't care about it? Interesting
Your explanation would seem to be plausible (that people want to see the spectacle of McCain flailing around).

5. I voted with the majority on both polls.
Hell yes, I wanna see McNutso bring it up. That will unleash Obama to stomp on him a little. And of course I could give a shit less about any putative connection between Obama & Ayers. Hell, in 1969 I was about ready to join the Weathermen. But I was too chickenshit for the prospect of violence.

13. Hell no just look at all the ex-crooks Bush has put to work
And then look at Congress and a man that used to want to blow up the 'war machine' is hardly any one I am going to worry about. Just think how safe we are with Ollie North and John Poindexter doing their things for us. This guy is still at some univ. so hardly can make a mess any more. It is North and Poindexter I would worry about as they have the run of our govt. not some made over anti-war guy from the 60's.
