3. Frankly I think that Obama should bring Ayers up,
In fact I think that Obama should call out McCain on all the shit McCain and his campaign have been spreading. Throw it back in his face and dare McCain to speak on it. Then let loose with both barrels about all the skeletons in McCain and Palin's closets.

9. Were I Obama, I would say:
That Ayers is a reformed criminal, with a PHd, and a peaceful citizen. He deserves a second chance, he's paid his debt to society and should be left alone. America is all about second chances, look at our current President. A reformed coke-head and binge drinker. If that's OK, then so is Ayers.

19. No but he did turn himself in and admitted to belonging to the Weather Underground
Clearly that's enough of a conviction for the Republicans making all this fuss.

5. I remain convinced that the only way Ayers gets into the debate
is if Schieffer himself does it.

16. If Schieffer doesn't bring it up, I think McCain will feel compelled to because of
his statement regarding his SHOCK that Obama mentioned that he didn't have the courage to confront him directly, so that pretty much ensured that it would be brought up tonight. And if McCain does it, I think it'll look like the desperate move it is. That's how I felt when Edwards brought up Cheney's daughter in their debate -- desperate smear tactic.

6. The Plunge Protection Team swings into action during the final hours of trading..
They were out yesterday, I'm sure they'll be out today. Honestly, they can make the numbers whatever they want now that they've nationalized everything..

11. Why is McCain still playing up to his base?
He's got the psychopath Palin to appeal to the psychopath base. And by this time, there's only a small proportion of the electorate on the fence. They're the independents, and they don't want to hear about Ayers or Wright. They want to hear about the economy.

17. The good news is that he will look like a fool if he brings it up and he will look like a fool if he
does not bring it up. Lose lose for McCain, win win for Obama and the rest of the good guys.
