McFailin bad poll numbers.

Few weeks ago in PA, Obama was up 8 points in one poll, he said NOOOOO, it is not that much maybe 4-5 points. Today we have polls showing up 11 and 12% in PA!!!!

Today Tweety shows him ABC saying Obama up 10, he said no he is up 7-8 points.

This mother fucker is officially following in Brokow's footsteps all the way to MTP's big chair!!!

He fails to mention that Newsweek has Obama up 11% and the daily Gallup has him up 10 today!

7. Exactly
He's been banking on having his "Florida Florida Florida" moment like Tim Russert did, so that he can make a name for himself.

2. One month ago, Chuck Todd said that whomever was up in
the polls on Oct. 15 would win the election, because there wouldn't be enough time to close the gap after the final debate.

I cannot wait to see his face on Oct. 16 :-).

10. I remember October 15th as well, and from the looks of it
Obama will be in the lead. It will be fun to see his reaction when those words are brought up.

8. He should be fired or reassigned to street reporting.
This man is holding the position of NBC's Political director and his blatant on-air shilling and outright lies have sealed the loss of his political bureau's journalistic integrity.

11. Truth is that polls are imprecise, and GOTV, fighting the purges, will decide
Regradless of Todds preference, or trying to keep balls in the air.

15. I agree with Todd.
Obama isn't up 11-15 points in PA. He's up big there, but not that big.

He'll win the state by 7 or 8 points.

16. Agree, too many people here are too sensitive & don't pay attention
I think Todd's a good guy and yes he's human, but his comments are reasonable.

17. Right.
PA will be an easy win and will be called shortly after its polls closed, but I have a hard time buying Obama is up that much when just four and eight years ago it was a toss-up.

7-8 points is a blowout and for a state like PA, a pretty sizable one. It also shows Obama is out performing Kerry and Gore and that will show in closer states.

18. I didn't have a problem with what Chuck said yesterday on Hardball.
But, I do call him out for being completely blindsided by McCain pulling out of Michigan, and being one of the only people still showing the single poll that showed Obama and McCain in a dead head there the day before the announcement, and failing to mention that other polls from Michigan showed Obama gaining ground.

19. Maybe he doesn't want people to think we have victory in the bag just yet.
He is alright, but sometimes I wish he would be responsive to good news, but he's in the media and they need it to appear tight for ratings game. What he doesn't say, is that Democrats lead Republicans in Registered voters by at least 11 million votes! :bounce:

21. To be fair, I don't buy the PA polls either
I certainly think Obama is ahead and will win PA, but he's not going to win it by 15 points. I don't think anyone has won PA by that big of a margin in at least the last 20 years. And I believe about half the undecideds in these polls are people voting for McCain for the wrong reasons and thus ashamed to admit it. But Obama is polling several points above 50 and I think that means he's likely to win the state, but not by 15 points.
