FYI-ACORN being investigated here in Indiana (Lake County)
Per report of WFYI (NPR):
Secretary of State (Repuke) has "credible evidence" of voter registration fraud here in Indiana, specifically Lake County which, coincidentally, has large numbers of minorities (particularly Hispanics) and is a large source of Democratic voters. SOS says that they have launched investigation but won't be finished with it until AFTER the election.

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!!!

1. Good. Someone who worked for ACORN swindled them out of money...
...and gave them a bunch of crap registrations that they were legally obligated to turn in.

Whoever that person (or persons) were deserves to be prosecuted.

2. Is that what the investigation is about?

I thought it was a continuation of the ACORN voter (registration) fraud that is being played up all over the news. Now that Indiana is in play this year I guess it's time to investigate them here now too.

*sigh*

4. They will be investigating who filled out the fraudulent forms.
That most likely will turn out to be an ACORN employee who was paid to go out and register real people, but decided to scam the organization instead.

5. So........what is the effect of all of this on the election
They don't (can't) obviously poll "fake" people nor are "fake" people going to show up to vote on election day (esp. not with people having to show ID), so why is this even news?

*Oh, wait wait...don't tell me...................

6. It's cover for the Republicans. They can blame ACORN and all the dead people they registered.
...for losing the election.

(even though almost everyone of those registrations will be discarded)

In short, it's a big steaming pile of BS.
