1. Thank you thank you thank you. One poll was bad after the convention.
Now please let Chris Matthews know that he could mention how Kerry is leading or tied in all the other polls other than Time. Funny how all of a sudden that is the one poll to mention.

2. I dont know about Mathews, he did look scared on Daily
News tonight, and anyway, I think mathews is for mathews, he just likes to try and get ratings....you cant depend on him....but I did feel sorry for him when he made a joke about having to have the secret service around him, its probably not a joke, but he should worry about those guys, arent they minions of Rove and company?

3. No they're just doing their job. Tonight he was quoting the Times poll

only. It's the only one that shows Bush leading, and by such a large margin makes it suspect. I think Matthews is a bigger flip flopper than Bush. And that says a lot.

6. I remember that poll. I remember feeling hopeless, too.
That's the lesson I learned from the election of 2000: Don't pay attention to the polls.

Arianna Huffington had some choice advice last night on Bill Maher: Forget the undecideds! Stop pandering to them! Just pay attention to your base, and get them all to the polls -- the Democratic base alone will get Kerry elected.

7. "Bush trumped Gore by 9-15 percentage points"
From the same source: "In the Battleground poll, Bush trumped Gore by 9-15 percentage points when respondents were asked to pick which candidate better represents strength, trustworthiness and vision."

So much for polls!!!
