A little happy for your Monday morning (--but let's not stop working!!--)
From the VERY right wing Electoral Projection website (http://www.electionprojection.com/index.shtml). EP is recommended as a right-wing electoral vote projection website by the guy who runs Electoral Vote (http://www.electoral-vote.com/).

"On Thursday last week, I asked the question, "Is it over?" Today the answer appears more than ever to be an emphatic yes. I told subscribers in an Email Alert last week that I thought we'd reached a lower bound of electoral votes for John McCain at 174. Wouldn't you know it? A day later, ARG released a poll of West Virginia voters giving Barack Obama an 8-point lead there. The result of the poll pushed Obama into the projected lead and pushed John McCain's floor down another 5 EVs. Today, the new presidential tally stands at 369-169 for the increasingly-likely President-elect Barack Obama.

Yes, I know, last week I also conveyed the idea that just about any outcome in this race was still possible. Honestly, though, an Obama landslide is becoming more and more likely by the day. Let's take stock for a moment where we stand. Seven states representing 96 electoral votes are in the "Weak Obama" category this morning. All were Bush states in 2004. Even if McCain were to somehow win every one of those seven states, he'd still come up short, 265-274. To win the presidency, he'd have to add another state. But the prospects are virtually non-existent. Obama's lead in the rest of the states in his column is at least 5 points. And as an indication of just how strong Obama's advantage is right now, all but two Kerry states in 2004 are projected to stay with the Democrats by double-digits. The other two, Wisconsin and Minnesota, show Obama ahead by nine."

Now I know Freeper's heads are spinning over in Freeperville, but this kind of intelligence from a known freeper really has me smiling!!

But let's still pound the pavement for another 3 weeks people!!!

1. 169 is WAY too many EV's to give McCain.
I'll give him Utah, I'm taking the rest.

2. I've never seen a meltdown like what's happening in . . .
. . . Freeperland lately. William Kristol's article has them all totally panicked. Their latest tactic is to "FReep the MSM" - sending emails complaining about this or that. Why the MSM won't stick to ACORN or Ayers or whatever. It couldn't be because THERE'S NO STORY THERE. Nah. They're convinced that Obama's "lipstick on a pig" is just as bad as "Obama's a terrorist . . . kill him!" Poor babies. They're going to be licking wounds for a long, long time.
