For the last 1/2 Hour, CNN has discussed NOTHING but...
The Bradley Effect.

It seems to me they don't like Obama's 94.1 % chance of winning this.

Maybe they are finding some excuse as to why Obama won't win.

They haven't even explained really what it is, just that it would explain why Obama won't win. It's absolutely disgusting.

1. I don't think that talking about the Bradley effect will...
...contribute to it happening more. It's the only thing they have to talk about to make this more of a horse race.

2. I think they are looking for an explanation as to why Obama can't win.
Even though they may not really want to report the real reason why he may not win (Election Fraud).

"secretly" not voting for him.

30. Unfortunately, I think it will...
It's basically announcing: "White people: It's understandable to not vote for a black candidate."

4. I've thought about it and maybe they are not
trying to expalin it away before it happens. Maybe they are doing it to shame people,
or to expose and talk about racism.

8. I stopped thinking positive about the M$M's attention after it cheerlead far too many
Average Americans into the immoral invasion of Iraq.

I knew it was bogus and so did the rest of the free world. However, OUR "illustrious" M$M was all for the invasion 100%.

Until the M$M is deconsolidated, they are NOT either free nor fair.

Edited on Sun Oct-12-08 11:29 PM by ShortnFiery
That is, it's not as easy to FORMULATE OPINION when the economy is tanking and people no longer *trust* the American M$M to tell the American People the truth.

You've lied to us too many times to place any TRUST in your veracity.

Bank on it M$M.

28. good insight
I do think the economic crisis is changing people's view of everything.

Of course the market is falling - confidence is gone because trust has been broken. The way to fix that is to restore trust and eliminate the untrustworthy, and regulate industry and finance and the media so that the untrustworthy cannot hold us all hostage anymore, not to badger all of us and tell us that if we only trusted in the economy it would recover - as though it were our fault, or as though losing trust in the untrustworthy were a bad thing.

"So long as the American people don't think they are lying, cheating, and stealing, then they aren't! Think positive people, and things will be positive!" I say bull. Er....bear.

20. Yep. That seemed to be the point when CBS Sunday morning talked about it.
They said things have changed MASSIVELY since Bradley lost. They attributed it partly to Rice and Powell in the Bush administration, and even gave credit to a black president in the show 24. Very interesting.

is that they bring up the non existent Bradley effect now and not one week before the election. Let Campbell Brown and her ilk blow their wad over this imaginary effect now. Hopefully we wont have to hear about it anymore.

10. Well how would you approach the matter if you thought your.........
cushy high-price salary and perks would be on the line. If Obama and the Dems clean the republican's clock then there will be a lot of turmoil in corporate broadcasting. Those billionaires that own M$M will be replacing a whole lot those folks that run that show. Those talking heads didn't get the job done and have left the rich privileged class prostrate to a new kind of government chosen by the uncleaned masses

12. They are trying to plant an explanation in the public's mind
So that they are not overly surprised and angry if Obama loses in spite of all the polling data. I really would like to believe otherwise but this seems remarkably complicit to me. They are at least partly in on the shenanigans and want to protect the Republicans from any backlash.

Hyping up the "Bradley Effect" is part of the election fraud support effort by the MSM.

It's astonishing that they would try to equate an election that happened over two decades ago with today when a whole new generation of people (who are more progressive) are voting.

31. Economy
I think the MSM are starting to look for other headlines. Other than the econmic crisis. Though it is still important it will not continue to dominate the airwaves.

And with Obama being ahead and holding. The talking heads will be discussing how Obama can lose. It does not make any sense but we are talking about the MSM.

I pray that Obama will seize the moment in this next debate and stay ahead of the curve.

The republicans will try to find a distraction. They are firing missles into Pakistan in record numbers. I don't trust them. They are full of gimmicks and stunts.

32. To them everything that is Obama is false.
I've already realized that. He hasn't broken record numbers for donations. He hasn't inspired hope for the future. He hasn't won the debates (although they said he did), there is no such thing as racism affecting white female and male voters and hence Obama can't get everyone, Obama doesn't have the support people think he does.

So in effect, everything we think we know about Obama is fake. Which means that he'll lose the election by a landslide and large margin due to the Bradley Effect, and without realizing it those stupid pundits are saying that this nation has not grown in the last 40 years since the 60s and we're actually the same racist fools. That there was no evolution and Black people could never inspire this type of support.

Thank you CNN and your bigotry, you're as evil as McCain/Palin.
