No More Stolen Elections! update
Posted by mike hersh

If you are willing to contribute your efforts to Media, Field Operations, or Web, please let me know. by Ben Manski | www.NoMoreStolenElections.org

A - DISTRIBUTION IS WEDNESDAY - We went public Wednesday, the 8th. Please look for several versions of the Call to Action, text and html, for distribution. Choose the version most appropriate for your lists and websites. We are counting on everyone to help get the word out as far and wide as possible. Thank you.

B - DISCUSSION LISTSERVE - I have subscribed many of us — using my best judgment as to who — to a discussion list at riseup.net. If you have been subscribed, you will receive confirmation of subscription shortly. If you have not been subscribed, and would like to be subscribed, please let me know at Ben Manski. The purpose of this listserve will simply be the coordination of information related to this campaign, related campaigns, and issues that people are experiencing in the field.

C - WORK TEAMS - We have four teams coming together for this campaign: Media (developing visibility and messaging), Field Operations (action between now and Election Day, action plan for post-Election Day), Reports (producing the Election Day and/or subsequent reports), and Web (management of website, programming skills not required, blogging skills are). The following people are bottom-lining each work team: Media (Sarah Manski), Field Operations (George Friday & possibly others from AFGE), Reports (John Nichols & possibly others from IPS), Web (Ben Manski).

D - WEEKLY CALLS - These will continue, weekly, on Thursdays at Noon Eastern time. The call in number is 1-218-936-4700. The access code is 05011886#. These calls will perform a clearinghouse function, primarily, keeping up to speed on the latest developments and related projects. (I realize that this particular Thursday is Yom Kippur, and apologize for the conflict this week).

E - WEBSITE - If you go to www.NoMoreStolenElections.org,
you will see that we are already live. There are still some bugs and programming issues that we are working on. But we are live. If there are typos, textual clarity issues here and there, please email me back directly to let me know. Thank you.
