At one of Fox's roundtable discussions last evening...
maybe it was beltway boys, not sure. They were discussing the Ayers issue, and somebody made the statement, and I'm paraphrasing, that... let's see if Obama has the guts to bring the subject up at the next debate. WTF? Why on earth would Obama bring it up?

1. Why on earth are you watching Fox News?
They made themselves irrelevant this election year.

You might hear and see anything on that channel.

2. There are many DUers who watch faux to keep an eye on what the idiots are up to.
Personally, I wait for Newshounds, but sometimes that can be a little late.

3. It brings out my dark side... and I get a good chuckle out of the idiocy and desperation.

5. It feels like a set up of sorts. The pressure is on McCain to ask the question but

at this point, I don't think he wants to and I don't think he will, not in front of millions of people from both sides. Looks to me like Fox might be gearing up to blame Obama if the subject isn't broached.

6. If you think evening roundtables are bad, you should try . . .
"Fox & Friends." Fatuous, juvenile, and sophomoric are waaaaay too weak to describe the depths of piffle to which the show launches itself every day.

Warning, watching will raise your blood pressure and lower your IQ in roughly equivalent amounts.

11. It's really intolerable. Under ordinary circumstances . . .
I wouldn't even be aware of its existence. But here in Australia the schedules are all williwonkers, and it comes on at about 8pm opposite CNN's World News Asia (which I'm steeped in daily because of my job) and the Beeb's (non)World news, which seems to focus almost entirely on floods in Italy.

So I sometimes watch 3-minute segments of "Fux & Friends" before turning the box off in disgust.

What can I say? I can't help glancing at traffic accidents when I pass by. It's human nature.
