2. Cool... thanks to those who have recced already.... here are the advertising statistics so far....

We launched this campaign on three days ago - fairly softly - so far we have served 90,000 adverts. The response rates (CTRs) are remarkably high. Anything over 0.3% is traditionally pretty good in online advertising terms.

Good work althecat! Always said there needed to be a distribution center for all the writers, bloggers, artists, film makers, etc.. we need One site that can lead the way, Editorialize and let MANY sites know what to HIT THEM WITH TODAY.. and then We SHOULD DO IT :)

I once tried to "Unionize" all the Liberals in that fashion, had a big meetup with some biggie progressives, Palast was there, WHAT A GUY, he's the Real Deal, I'll tell you..

I love what you are doing, maybe I can create some adverts for some Flash work and spread some Political attack ads that way as well..

And cool flash is one of the many cool things you do. Organising progressive media is a bit like herding cats I expect - hence our approach to just give them free advertising. That way its easy to say yes.

20. K & R. One other thing -- everyone -- check your voter registration.

Before election day, or in those states where registering on election day isn't an option, take a minute to verify you're actually on the voter list while there's still time.

There was an interesting thread in the "Wisconsin" forum about this. Some folks found out they weren't listed, others were listed incorrectly, or at the wrong address. Some people who had been voting for years found out they had been removed from the rolls. (Mysteriously.)

Voting early, using an absentee paper ballot, is probably the best thing to do to help keep the lines short on election day, but check your own registration, first.
