Only two nasty people and they were *really* angry. BUT we had also people at two different houses who volunteered that they had always voted repub, and this year they were voting for Obama!

Most interesting of all tho was the nice gray haired white lady in her mid70s who told us she was undecided. I asked her what her issues were, and we started to talk... She told me she was a lifelong Republican but she feels we need a change. And she said she just couldn't bring herself to vote for McCain BECAUSE OF HIS POOR JUDGEMENT choosing Pailin! She LIKES Obama, and said that Biden was an excellent strong choice for VP. I believe she will either vote Obama or stay home on election day. She was THAT upset about the possibility of Caribou Barbie being VP.

1. Just curious... what did the two nasty people say to you? What was their problem with Obama?
To me the choice is so clear, I'm always wondering how there can be 40-something percent of the country that sees things another way.

3. One turned purple faced, lunged out his door and screamed "I'm voting McCain"
pivotted and slammed the door shut.

The second one told me to get off his property and slammed the door.

Neither was willing to tell me anything. Tho in phone canvassing last week I had a couple men say McCain and gave me their reasons as "Commander in Chief".

4. I know it's anecdotal
But I am hearing alot of how older women are really turned off at Palin, someone in another post qouted an older woman saying she was "showing off." If I was a Repub, just as a woman, I would be disgusted at Palin. Wonder if we are going to win older white women?

5. Thanks for getting out there on the front lines, peacetrain!
Did it come up that Joe Biden was born in Scranton, PA?

Let me guess..the nasty ones thought Obama was a terrotist? Courtesy of the lies of the power abuser in Alaska?
