So do we go affter the pill popping trollop now?
http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com/2008/10/mccain_campaign_goes_after_mic.php

The McCain campaign is now broadening their attack on Obama's past association with William Ayers to include Michelle Obama -- even though McCain has repeatedly said spouses should be off limits during the campaign.

The attack? Bernardine Dohrn, Ayers' wife and fellow former Weatherman, went to work in 1984 for the major Chicago-based national law firm of Sidley & Austin, and three years later, Michelle joined the mega-firm as well.

That's the entire attack. We wish we were joking. But we aren't.

In launching this latest, McCain is ditching yet another formerly-claimed principle as he faces the growing likelihood of defeat. In a statement back in June, the McCain campaign said: "Senator McCain agrees with Senator Obama that spouses should not be an issue in this campaign, and he has stated that position frequently."

2. Cindy McCain is Robot Barbie. Drug-addled zombie. Stole McCain from his disabled first wife
Edited on Sat Oct-11-08 10:36 AM by gauguin57
... after year-long affair. Publicly denied the existence of TWO SISTERS, one of whom died yesterday.

Wears $130,000 outfits while people are losing their retirement funds.

Shall we go on, McCain campaign? Shall we enter the world of "she stole drugs from a freaking charity" and "she had to bail you out of a huge gambling debt, according to ross perot" ????

Just getting prepped, in case the other camp dares go after Michelle.

And WHAT A FIELD DAY we'll have with old First Dude!! Traitor to his country, for starters (AIP). $50K-a-year oil job he didn't go to half the time (because he was apparently running the Alaska gov't from Sarah's conference room) ... bully ... etc.

13. One of Cindy's sisters died yesterday? My condolences go to her family.
Has the McCain campaign released a statement at all?

4. Nope
keep the focus on the economy and what we will do to reverse course in this country.

Since McCain went "dirty rotten kitchen sink" he has dropped 3-5 points in every poll. he will keep sinking.

5. No. We don't need to win dirty
We're far enough ahead that we should avoid Rove style attacks.

6. Pill popping trollop? Hell, Limbaugh has always been fair game.
But Obama said from the gitgo "families are off limits." If you want to adopt Republican levels of ethics, have at it. I'll stick by my party's leader instead.

10. Her treatment of the sisters is particularly appalling
The father supported one of them all his life. Once Cindy got her hands on the money, she immediately cut her off. Some "family values"!

12. Oh no, not Darling Cindy! The slim wife who replaced the one that got fat after her auto accident.
Well, not fat really, just kind of plump. But John hates that. So he got a new model. And she had millions too.

Of course he had his own millions, through his aristocratic family (son & grandson of Admirals) and tips from wealthy friends like Charles Keating & Phil Gramm.

And they worked out Cindy's prescription stealing addiction problem many years ago apparently.

14. The McCain campaign signaled their shift to the spousal attack when they baited the Obama campaign.

It was clear to me that sending Cindy to the podium to spew smears and attacks on Obama was a deliberate attempt to bait Obama ... in order to get an excuse to attack Michelle.

17. I actually feel sorry for her
She seems like a tragic figure to me, married to a real bastard (although she's wealthy enough to have divorced him years ago - who knows what flaws make her stay) and clearly still abusing *something*. When she attacked Obama for his funding vote, her words were slurred and there's no doubt in my mind she was as high as a kite. No wonder they hardly ever let her speak.

And why do these wealthy socialites always look a decade older than they are? She's still young - relative to him - yet the starving herself and the botox makes her look terrible. It certainly doesn't make her look younger - she looks actually kind of disfigured from the eye jobs and whatever else she's had done.

I'd stay away from her because I don't think she's quite right. She has enough on her plate dealing with the asshole she's married to.

18. Cindy is now fair game, AFAIAC. Obama will remain a perfect gentleman and
not say a word about her. The public will notice. McSame's numbers will drop even more.

Obama knows exactly how to win over those undecideds.

20. The C*nt?
Sure. Both barrels. She's asked for it.

And if Michelle started attacking McCain on the stump, she'd be fair game too. But she hasn't. So she isn't.
