My In-Laws turning to Obama!
They voted for Kerry and this year supported Hillary, then when she lost to Obama, kept saying that McCain had a better economic plan, but deep inside I knew it was racism.

Now with the economy in the crapper, all I hear is anti-Republican rhetoric, how McCain does not have a plan but Obama does.

Oh and do they hate Palin. They were part of the Palin boost until they found out who she really was.

And the negative ads are just closing the deal in their mind. They know Obama was 8 when Ayers conducted his terrorist activities.

I feel better and better.

Expect a surprise out of Arizona, maybe not an Obama victory but a McCain victory by less than a point would sure hurt.

5. I imagine your in-laws are fine democrats... just needed time to
come around. We can all thank Sarah Palin for waking up some of those Hillary supporters who were reluctant about Obama, for whatever reason.

6. They are more independents than dems
I think they did not like Obama for his background. Yet, they are from the Chicago area. Just not "that one" community.

Traditionally democrats, long tradition of union workers in the family, but like many, voted for Reagan, who really was good with union members.

They do hate Bush, and voted Kerry when it became obvious the War in Iraq was a hack job and a very stupid move for America.
