Also, when I first joined DU, I stole one of his pieces, was going to put it in the rear window of my car, as had no more room for bumper stickers, but never got around to asking permission :(
I was shy then....but now am able to proclaim my love and respect for Swampy, and want him to come live with me...But you can't take the rat out of the swamp:o

With the ability to see beneath surface reality. Most appropriate of course for depticting the lizard people of the GOP, and done with passion and humor.
Don't know if Swamp Rat does other, non-political art or maybe will do so at some future point, but I hope that would be the case.

I would love to see his editorial images syndicated and in print somewhere.

His images are like seeing the most evil world imaginable through the eyes of an innocent child that sees and understands absolutely everything. They remind me of the paintings of Ivan Albright.
