Who is that Republican lady in blue on Larry King Live?
Edited on Thu Oct-09-08 08:41 PM by Skip Intro

She shot down mccain's racist, hate-mongering attacks, said palin was being used as a tool for garbage, said it was not the Republican party she knew - disowned what's going on now. Spoke of mccain's non-support for equal pay for equal work. She spoke in a way that actually made me say "thank you." I didn't know there were any Republicans left with dignity and a sense of fairness. I turned to SNL before I caught her name, but her words are worth the replay (whenever lkl replays).

Anyone know who this person is? I don't recall seeing her before. I hope I'm not praising some rw nut, but she sure didn't soud that way just now...

2. It's Michelle Laxalt
She's the daughter of Paul Laxalt, former Republican senator.

3. she basically called McCain a wuss
sending Palin out to do his dirty work. Said she heard from inside the campaign that they treat Palin like a servant. Feed her the lines and then send her out to recite them.

5. That brilliant lady was Michelle Laxalt, president of her lobbying
company Laxalt Corporation. She can be emailed at [email protected].

I was very impressed with her performance. Too bad for us that she is and has been for years a prominent Republican strategist and lobbyist.

6. she was GREAT!
Laxalt and Parker made that lunatic Buchanan look like the rabid idiot she is. Naturally I don't agree with their politics, but they have the class to call bullshit when they see it. All the more powerful when it comes from the right. I especially loved when she said that the people running McCain's campaign were fired by Reagan for being so nasty.

7. And did you see that twit Bay Buchanan roll her eyes
when they were talking about 'equal pay for equal work'? What a douche-nozzle.
