AP edits story to cover Bush's ass - a must see
Original story

censored one:

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040903/ap_on_el_pr/bush_clinton&cid=694&ncid=1963&sid=96378798

Notice how the following paragraph disappeared

Bush's audience of thousands in West Allis, Wis., booed. Bush did nothing to stop them.

Bush Offers Best Wishes for Clinton (Liberal bias shows again)

So, from now on we have to re-write history to satisfy freepers. It wouldn't be good if the world would see or hear what heartless idiots Bush supporters are. The media's job is to only report positive things coming from Bush and his supporters.

14. glad you got a picture of it
i once posted a story that pointed up a shortcoming of the cheney-bush junta, and it morphed three times into "nothing wrong with our Pres" on the same URL-with no note of editing and no mention of the original story

i hate Yahoo! news for that...they use one URL over and over again.

by the way, the article you post here is just one more reason Bush is:
Unfit For Command

15. I was just going to start a thread on this!! What is going on with
AP? I have sent them 2 emails in 2 weeks already. One was the story released to my local paper, saying BUSH SLAMS SWIFT-BOAT ADS when he was 'slamming' 527's. The other was this week on the VVA's reply to the GOP purle-heart band-aids and they added, "The bandages mock Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry's claim to have earned three Purple Hearts in Vietnam." Now this... do we get to guess which story is the true one?

19. Perhaps it was the Yahoo News Editor that did the editing.
I work for a paper and we have the AP line running for stuff, but editors here will shorten stories to fit pages with a bulk of ads. So it's generally out of the AP's hands after a point.

I'm not saying that what was done was right, just that AP might not necessarily be responsible. I blame Yahoo news editors myself. They ran a line under a Ken Cordier pic stating he was a Swift Boat Vet not too long ago which is a bold face lie.

of "shadenfruede" dancing in his head. The true nature of the Father of Compassionate Conservatism is exposed.

The "edited" story omits a key element and the facts have become distorted.

Rove and his scouts are on the constant lookout for anything that would stain his saintly image. They have plenty of money to handle the expenses.

29. what? you think a bush crowd booing clinton in the hospital
deserves the same editing technique as the dean scream or something?

welkome to bushco's amerika. left is right, black is white, occupation is liberation, jobs going overseas is a strong economy, and people without healthcare is compassion.

but you can own your own home...

28. Print Screen /Alt Print Screen
To grab a picture of your whole screen hit the 'Print Screen' button above the Insert key...you grab an image of only the active screen (say a dialog box) use ALT + Print Screen

now it is in your memory and you can paste (Control + V) it to picture edit program or maybe your email

Enjoy

30. How to Make, Rework, and Save a Screen Shot in Windows
Here’s a very good how-to article:

http://cty.jhu.edu/writing/techhelp/screenshot.html

Instead of using Microsoft Photo Editor or Paint, I use Irfanview Graphic Viewer/Manager to clean up the screenshot. It’s the best photo/graphics manager on the market, without the hassle of PhotoShop, and it’s free and supereasy to use.

Hope this helps – NKR

Edited on Fri Sep-03-04 03:40 PM by DeepModem Mom
Rove is watching -- and picks up the phone. He calls the reporter, or probably more often, his or her editor or producer. See my sig line.

The idea of what this country is supposed to be, the concept of democracy, means NOTHING to these people.
