3. I don't like this ad.

First of all, because there's no solution to this crisis that doesn't involve taxpayers giving money to someone who doesn't deserve it, and taking on debts they never agreed to. Ads like this just make people angry at government in general, and less supportive of it doing anything at all.

I also think McCain deserves some credit for actually addressing the root of the problem --stabilizing mortgages -- instead of just flooding the banks with money they still refuse to lend. Buying mortgages and refinancing them may ultimately be a good idea. At any rate, Obama shouldn't be trying to polarize people against it.

Finally, why give McCain the exposure? Why isn't Obama contrasting his own plan against McCain's, if he's going to give him the exposure in the first place?

Bleh. Just don't like this ad.
