mccain-palin - inciting violence... I'm concerned
we seen palin out there 'whipping up' the crowds, anger and the probability of violence is rising

my concern is with Obama events, and the people outside of the event location. I don't think there has been an obama appearance where there are as many people outside as inside.

my concern is mccainiacs outside of an event starting a fight/riot - and the headline will be OBAMA RIOTS, then spun as Obama supporters are the rioters... i.e dangerous...risky... etc.

anyone else concerned about this?

1. it would be hard for them to spin it that way, imho
supporters of the guy who's in the lead probably aren't going to stir up trouble. it'll be the snoteaters who are losing.

they are starting to get very testy, though. they see having their party in power as some sort of football championship trophy. now they're sensing it's the 4th quarter, about 4 minutes left, they're behind by 3 touchdowns and the democrats are sitting on the ball, running out the clock.

no wonder they're pissed.

2. They're just trying to incite *anything*.
That only the freaky True Believers are showing up to their rallies, and the candidates' lack of a positive agenda, mean that only violent wingnuttery is emitted.

The cries of "kill him!" are only indirectly McCain's and Palin's fault. Were they real leaders, they might be able to harness some positive energy.

3. I agree.
To paraphrase RFK, the republican party is appealing to the darker impulses of American society.
