Kick this Very Sad Faux news, McCain can't stop them from yelling Traitor, Terrorist...
http://thinkprogress.org/2008/10/08/cameron-rallies-terrorist/Fox report:

‘More and more’ McCain rallies are taunting Obama as ‘traitor, criminal, and even terrorist.’»

Fox News’ political reporter Carl Cameron is on the trail with John McCain. Reporting from a live McCain rally this evening, he said:

You’ll hear the booing behind me. In recent days, when Barack Obama’s name has been mentioned, it has gone from boos and hissing to actual chants and calls of traitor, criminal, and even terrorist.

The McCain campaign says they don’t condone it, they don’t want to see it happen, but it’s happening more and more every day.

Watch it: http://thinkprogress.org/2008/10/08/cameron-rallies-terrorist/

The crowd reaction may have something to do with the frequent charges from the McCain campaign that Obama “pals around with terrorists.”

1. BULLSHIT. He and Palin can say flatly, that such trash is un AMERICAN
You might disagree with the other party candidate, and even a hearty boooooo is within the bounds of politics.

But seething mob behavior, threats, and other invectives and epithets have no place in civil society.

They should be publicly shamed and escorted from the premises immediately by security.

36. But they aren't gonna do that, are they?
The fear tactics are how the Republicans managed to get this far. Bush has been an epic failure, and McSame knows he'll end up continuing his policies (because he wants to in many cases) so that he can kiss ass to the Christian right.

They want to show class and civility like they say they do? Get Palin to apologize for calling Obama a terrorist supporter, and make sure security escorts those dumb fuckers away from the rallies.

But we all know they won't do that......

They should really consider how this helps their economy when the world is watching and knows he isn't a terrorist that would only mean the GOP are clueless anyway if that were true. Do they really want all nations to abandon america in tourism and trade as a lost cause, it's not really helping things I'd guess.

Maybe I'll go look for a SS link.

I'm scared for O. Bunch of freaking lunatics.

If we can raise more awareness about this - maybe this will finally put the nails in
McCain/Palin ticket.

Update from Huff Post on SS
UPDATE: Radar reports that the Secret Service is investigating the potential threat against Barack Obama at a Sarah Palin rally:

The Secret Service is following up on media reports today that someone in the crowd at a McCain/Palin event suggested killing Barack Obama, according to Secret Service spokesman Malcolm Wiley. The shout of "kill him" followed a Sarah Palin rant on Obama's relationship with radical Chicagoan Bill Ayers.

picked someone with some scrupels (like Huckabee, for instance.) Sure he has crazy ideas but

Doesn't it say a hell of a lot about Palin. New on the block and immediately agrees to
be a hate monger? It fits her like a glove. Sure she is in the mode to please the
campaign bigwigs -- but, if she had been a truly good person - we would have been able
to tell that attacking with such vengence was not her MO

McCain CAN do something about this. How typical. A 'puke playing the victim. What a piece of shit. He could actually tell his fascist supporters to STFU and show a little respect, like Obama did when his supporters started to boo Hillary, but instead, HE chose to sell his soul to the devil and dive right into the darkside. Shame on him. This is no man of honor! And his supporters would make most excellent Nazi's.

JFK. MLK. RFK. Before they owned the media and voting machines, they just killed those they found "dangerous." Putting on my tinfoil hat, one might suspect the attempted hit on Reagan as a power grab by Poppy and his cronies.

But America is still alive. It's in all of us supporting Barack Obama. And guess what? We outnumber the crazy, racist fascists. We're taking the country back.

and that is NOT presidential.

after all, when Obama told all his people that family was off limits (defending the witch's pregnancy Issues, meth addicted son and pregnant unwed teenage daughter..and now Sarah's affair with her husband's best friend), people listened. They might blog whatever, but they don't shout it out and create lynch mobs of angry family values voters. (wink wink).

Poor McCain, no one listens to him. That should be the Clue he needs to just....stop. Go home.

23. Josh Marshall had some interesting thoughts on this today
Obviously Intentional

Seems like almost every day now there's a McCain-Palin rally where the campaign has the candidates introduced by someone who hits on "Barack Hussein Obama". Just happened again in Bethlehem, PA. After the fifth or sixth time you pretty much know on the orders of the campaign. It is obviously with tacit approval (to believe anything else is to be a dupe at this point); and quite probably on the campaign's specific instructions.

Given the regularity of the cries of "treason" and "terrorist" and the like, and the frequency with which the screamers seem in oddly convenient proximity to the mics, we should probably be considering the possibly that these folks are campaign plants. It happens all the time. It's just that usually they don't scream out accusations of capital crimes.

Late Update: A thought. At what point do they start burning Obama in effigy at the Palin rallies?
