Hell, I can give McCain's speech for him
Doesn't he have any new material??? I sat here and before he even said it I said out loud to the TV "And if I needed advice I wouldn't seek it from a Chicago politician." *Yawn* I've heard that line about 4 different times now.

My favorite though was the shocked look on Palin's face when McCain said that. The shock and incredulous laughter like she just heard that joke for the first time. She IS the joke!

1. Agreed, and the oddly surreal thing is that...
every single thing that either Palin or McCain says about Obama is actually true - about them.

2. George H. W. Bush called Arkansas "the lowest of the low."
John McCain says, "I probably wouldn't seek advice from a Chicago politician."

McCain will be as successful against Obama as Bush was against Clinton.

4. Why would anyone who lives in Chicago vote for him?
He says it with such a sneer. He truly makes me sick.

6. well there are probably a few suburbanites who migrated to the city.....
...in illinois, all the repukes are downstate and in the burbs. but in urban chicago, there are very few repukes. and the ones who are there tend to keep it to themselves. chicago is a big union town. additionally, there's a lot of ethnic diversity. chicago is bluer than blue. illinois will go for obama 70% to 30%.
