I told a total stranger on the phone today: "Vote on November 4th!"

I had to call Sirius radio on their 1-800 number for some help on my account. The guy was friendly and
nice and as we were about to hang up, I blurted out, "Vote on November 4th, okay?!"

He said, "Oh I sure am, you can count on that! We have to have some change for sure."

Kind of surprised him, and me too. I didn't really know I was going to say it. I suppose he could've turned out to be a repub, but from my interaction with him up to that point, I got the feeling he wasn't.

2. I have had two calls soliciting for the homeless vets this week.

I said that I was very sorry but until * was out of office I could not make a denotation. I followed that with, "Did you know that John McCain has voted against the vets 18 out of 20 times?" He told me that he was not allowed to talk politics at work. I chuckled and told him that I was and suggested that he vote for Obama if he cared about the vets. That is all. And not to worry I have donated to the food pantry and I have dialed my fingers off trying to get the troops the support that they need. Peace, Kim
