I bookmarked the OP's link immediately- those babies are our future and as others in this thread have pointed out babies know when they are in the presence of safety.

Regarding the picture in my sig-line: Fellow DUer ColbertWatcher found it a short while back and posted it in a thread titled What Hope looks Like. I was quite moved by the photo for the very reasons you cited. I asked to use the photo as a constant self reminder what it is we fight for.
ColbertWatcher was kind enough to shrink and lighten it for me. here is the original as he first found it which imo is even more impressive:
