Bush gets re-elected... America dies.
I'm serious. This is my begging plea...

Two months of now or never.

If that asshole gets re-elected in the White House, the America we know it will murdered by the bastard's power-hungry hands.

John Kerry is our nation's last hope. If the right-wing media keeps treating him like sh*t and defends Adolf W. Bush between now until election day, then everything our founding fathers fought for... is for NOTHING.

Help me.

16. This is not a sky is falling issue.
If bush gets back in office, you can kiss democracy in this country goodbye. They will finish taking the rest of your civil liberties away and will end the term limits of the president.
You can count on it!

7. Sorry bud
He's going down the crapper, but if you think things will be hunky-dory when he wins, tell me how America is when it becomes the most hated country on Earth. I'll be in New Zealand if you need me in worst case scenario.

6. But we can't stop there.

Otherwise they will do to Kerry what they did to Clinton. Bet on it.

So we have to get control of the House and Senate. And we need to
have an independent media (we don't have to control it, but it can't
be left to the few corporations that control it now... re-institute
the controls on media outlets re ownership AND apply that to cable
as well).

Make sure everyone you know is voting for Kerry. The truth really works.

9. yes, it's hard not to get discouraged.
by the way, 're-elected' is not really accurate. but you know that.

thinking of the USA under a Bush administration unshackeled from the need to "win" another term is truly frightening. The environment -- ruined! Unions? a thing of the past! Workplace safety? Overtime? gone! Every decision, EVERY decision will go toward the rich. The shadow men will make decisions directly affecting our lives....women's rights? Gone! The fanatical right-wing preachers will flex their muscle without restraint. Falwell and robertson, I believe, would put the match to the kindling to burn "faggots" at the stake. Maybe it won't go that far, but.....
I'm not too optimistic.
And the thing is....the foul 'swift boat veterans" campaign worked! it had its intended effect....."support for kerrey among veterans slips."
foul, dirty, misleading ads loaded with fiction work.
SO! we can expect the Bush campaign to sink just as low down and dirty as they need to. Plus, if it comes down to the wire in a couple of key states, say, florida and ohio, they'll just fix the results.....

yeah, it's pretty damn depressing....

10. We will win
Don't entertain the possibility of defeat. A soldier loses the battle the moment they believe that they can no longer win. I am already planning my victory celebrations and what I will tell my professors as to WHY I won't be in for school on the third of November.

Defeat is impossible, victory is certain. Repeat and remember that and it will be so, along with working hard and long and tough and refusing to knuckle under.

We have two months to save this country, let's make George Washington stand up and give us a standing ovation for our victory in saving the nation he fought, bled, and died for.

give me a good slap in the face.
even if we lose, we need to go down fighting, if for no other reason than to set an example for younger generations...
