Palin and Ayers is desperation for a change from the nosedive that the POW Camp is taking Nationally and in the Swing States.

This is to change the story for one or two cycles that the POW Camp is tanking in the polls. Because that is the story.

Obama is nearing liftoff. This is distraction and nothing more. It's not getting the response that Wright did in the Spring/Summer. Wright did hurt Obama in the polls, temporarily.

This Ayers garbage won't. First of all, it is from Palin, who is a national joke. Nothing she says is considered worthy of a second thought, except to be used as a punchline. Secondly, it is absurd, and only the fuxnews mouth-breathers gobble it up. They were already for the POW Camp, nothing has changed.

This is not about changing the trend of the polls. It is not about winning over Independents or securing moderate repubbies. It is not about wounding Obama.

It is about diverting attention. We saw it with the pick of Palin. We saw it with the suspension of the campaign. It is a desperate tactic for a news cycle, not a strategy to win.

1. The McBush campaign manager has said that if the focus is on the economy,
McBush loses. The sludgefest goes into overdrive.
