The morning news shows aren't buying this Ayers crap.
The CNN truth squad just slapped a big old "FALSE" on it. Everyone on Morning Joe was panning it as a bad idea. Even Pat was skeptical.

This, like every other move the McCain camp has tried lately, has FAIL written all over it.

5. They agreed that McCain should do it...
...but only because it's the only tactic left to him. Going on to say that Keating will be a MUCH bigger deal to people than Ayers.

9. Outright racism, maybe?
"Do ordinary, real Americans want someone not like them in the White House, or rather, the BLACK House?"

11. This can easily be negated.
Consider how many people were not just associates, but close personal friends with O.J. Simpson. Were they all palling around with a murderer??

12. Too bad John Roberts didn't get the message.
He was just on and it sounded like he was reading Republican talking points. (I emailed and told him he forgot to put on his McCain/Palin button this morning.)
