15. The Funny Thing Is That SNL and Comedians Are Noting The Absurdity Of McCain's Attacks

The fact that these mock-attack ads are so funny is that they so closely resemble the real things. For example, the skit from SNL that had McCain approving various attacks ads. Yet, the ads themselves were not significantly different from the real attack ads run by McCain, yet people were laughing their ass off. The fact of the matter is that Republicans have forced themselves into absurdity, since it is taking more and more to shock people, since the GOP has so desensitized the American public.
