GOP hack on CNN blaming minority homeownership for the economic collapse

This appears to be a concerted effort by the GOP, talk radio and conservative blogs to pin the housing collapse on minority homeownership.

The hack on CNN, Diana West, blamed the Democrats and Bush for allowing those unclean minorities to own homes. This was just on "Lou Dobbs This Week."

Most sub prime mortgages went to white people, but the GOP ain't gonna let facts get in the way of the racially motivated attacks on minorities.

Sickening. Most GOP blogs have been pushing this same talking point. Do you guys think this will work?

In times of economic calamity, racist sentiment against minorities and immigrants tends to go up. This appears to be a part of that sentiment. The GOP wants to tap into anger and pin the blame on minorities.

Before Congress adjourned, several Repuke house members offered this racist bullshit on the House floor. Clinton made it too easy for poor folks (blacks) to buy houses. When they couldn't make their payments, the system collapsed.
