5. People do not realize that small business employers will be forced

to drop their health care benefits.

It works like this - once the benefits are changed to wages, they are subject to FICA, Medicare, FUTA and SUI. Since workers' compensation is tied to wages, WC goes up. And general liability is tied to both gross profit and wages, it goes up.

That is a substantial increase for small business, and a hugh tax increase on small business. Oh boy, don't the RepubliCons just love small business.

I've been pushing McCain's health care plan to repubs I work with, and it was news to them. One come up today and was very concerned...and this might be the one thing that pushes him to Obama. They need to run this ad. A lot.
