Fox's Debate Poll: Biden 61, Palin 39
via Sullivan

Fox's Debate Poll 03 Oct 2008 03:13 pm

Well, they can skew the coverage but not the data, mercifully. The full data:

CNN Biden 51 Palin 36
CBS Biden 46 Palin 21
Fox Biden 61 Palin 39

2. I think Fox Noise
is a good example of how people have tuned out the media. The Fox commentators can spin conservative talking points all they want but people have pretty much stopped listening. Even MSNBC was pumping up Palin last night for all the good it did.

People aren't buying the spin anymore. What's going on in this country is affecting people directly and telling them otherwise isn't going to work. Brit Hume and Bill Kristol can stare into the camera wearing their expensive suits and make up all the shit they want to help out McCain. It's not working anymore.

13. The big message: In serious times, America wants serious leaders
They don't want a reckless old prick who probably has some severe medical problems, and they don't want a cute little babe who has no clue about anything but tries to get over by winking and flirting.

150,000 people lost their jobs this month for Christ's sake. Anybody with a retirement account just lost 10% of it or more. We need people who take this job seriously.

America is finally getting the picture. I would have guessed the polls would split abut 50/50. I am becoming proud of my fellow man for the first time in a long time. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.

6. Did they call this a Palin win?
11:1 voters for Obama in PA was a split for them.

7. They ARE skewing as I post this
link: http://elections.foxnews.com/ go vote if you want to, scroll down a little over half way, poll in center of page. Results appear after you vote.

I was monitoring this until about 4:30AM PST, when Biden peaked at 62% with about 150,000votes.
Question of the Day
Who won the vice presidential debate Thursday?

Sarah Palin 38%

Joe Biden 62%
Total Voters:152455
Thread from last night on the astonishing FOX NEWS Poll:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x7292265

At 1PM PST over 300,000 total voters has Palin at 45% and Biden at 55% and Biden dropping fast.
I noticed late last night and early this morning that votes were trickling in but currently they are coming in at a rate of about 10 per second. (Vote-note total number of voters, refresh page vote again-yep you can do that, note jump in numbers of around between 50-75 votes each refresh)
Here is a screen capture from moments ago at 1:42PM PST:
Question of the Day
Who won Thursday's vice presidential debate?

Sarah Palin 46%

Joe Biden 54%
Total Voters:321287

As you can see the numbers ARE being skewed right now. I wouldn't doubt to see a clear turnaround with Palin ahead within an a couple of hours at this rate.

8. I think this is a different poll.

The Kansas City Star item to which Sullivan links describes it as "randomly selected subjects" (i.e., not an online poll), as does this Daily Telegraph article.

9. ah...oops
 I was up late, I suppose I could delete that but sometimes it's good to leave one's soiled laundry up for all to see. I'll delete that response if you ask me to though.

15. A real poll or an 'online poll'?
Can't find it on the Fox site.
