Did anyone else hear Pat Buchanan, the asshole that he is,
say last night that Palin 'wiped up the floor' with Biden?

I thought Biden was brilliant. He clearly has a vision of the world, and our role in it, that Palin can't begin to understand.

Wiped up the floor with him? :puke:

WTF is wrong with some people? Is it too much to ask that our leaders are knowledgeable and intellectually curious?

Biden is right, this is the most important election in my lifetime.

Smart people unite for Obama/Biden! They are just like us and I'd love to have a beer with them any day.

3. The rightwing flaks did the same thing last week
declaring that McCain won the debate until the polls proved them undeniably wrong.
What they are doing is trying to affect those polls while there is still opportunity.
To me, it just stinks and looks desperate.

4. Pat was totally wrong on this.
McCain and Palin are cheap beer people. Obama and Biden are good wine people.

5. We are one day close to a bu..bbbuuu.....bbbbblack man becoming President
And Pat is blowing every racist circuit in his head over it.

Same old, same old. Use the 'big lie', and just present it as truth.

Palin was horrible.

Circular talking, factually incorrewct, on some points contradicting herself, that smarmy, smug, small-town self-righteous attitude came right over the radio.

7. Buchanan is the ultimate "Joe Six-Pack." Couldn't hear the debate
over the 'snap' of the pop top so he made up his own debate.

9. McCain needs a game changer and he needs it asap
Last night's debate wasn't one. The race this morning is where it was yesterday morning and where it was for the last week or so...

11. NO WAY Pat will diss Palin. Had he done so, he risked being held responsible
for putting another nail in McCain's coffin. I personally admire Pat's passion, but I often doubt his sincerity. He turns it on and off to suit his party... and it was so obviously "off" last night. I expected his positive response but I admit I didn't think he go that high... Sensational? Good Lord.

14. I heard him use "sensational!" to describe Sarah at least two different times.
:eyes:

He used the same line of reasoning that the rw used with Dubya. The whole "fresh face," "folksy,", "likable" aspect of choosing a candidate that helped get us into this mess. Hopefully, Americans are smarter than they were 4 and 8 years ago.

15. I heard that line as I was falling asleep.
Didn't realize that it came from Buchanan, of all people, who always struck me as having a weird core of integrity underlying the evil.

But that's just dumb.

16. He's a moron.
She kept changing the subject and making attacks that Biden felt compelled to answer. I think Biden should have kept pointing out the tactic she was using rather than respond to her attacks. But in now way shape or form did she "wipe the floor with him". That's just wishful thinking on Pat's part and as a Republican mouth piece he was going to say she won or tied no matter what happened.
