Texas Voter Registration Question

After reading all the posts earlier this week (or was it last week?) about votes being thrown out for simple errors, I'm worried about mine.

I registered to vote last year, but have since moved. I changed my address online earlier today. I'm a college student, so my state ID has my home address on it. If the address I used to register to vote doesn't match my state ID address, will my vote be thrown out?

1. I did not have a problem

I voted early one time and my voting address did not match my license. When I got to the polling place, they asked about the different addresses and I do not remember it being a problem, but it was not for a Presidential election. . .it was voting for the Cowboys stadium in Arlington.

2. When I Was In College in Austin

I could vote at college where I lived. All I had to show was the voter registration card. They do not ask for the driver's license unless you don't have the card even now.

I did lose my card one year and my license still showed my home address at my parents and they accepted the driver's license along with a piece of mail with my college address.
