Seen this? "Gov. Blunt Statement on Obama Campaign’s Abusive Use of Missouri Law Enforcement"
Looks like it's from Blunt's website. It's the most ungrammatical statement this side of W. and Palin, and I have no idea what they are talking about here. Anybody able to enlighten me?

Gov. Blunt Statement on Obama Campaign’s Abusive Use of Missouri Law Enforcement

JEFFERSON CITY - Gov. Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on news reports that have exposed plans by U.S. Senator Barack Obama to use Missouri law enforcement to threaten and intimidate his critics.

“St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.

“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.

“This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson. I can think of nothing more offensive to Jefferson’s thinking than using the power of the state to deprive Americans of their civil rights. The only conceivable purpose of Messrs. McCulloch, Obama and the others is to frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate, to suppress support and donations to conservative organizations targeted by this anti-civil rights, to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election.

“Barack Obama needs to grow up. Leftist blogs and others in the press constantly say false things about me and my family. Usually, we ignore false and scurrilous accusations because the purveyors have no credibility. When necessary, we refute them. Enlisting Missouri law enforcement to intimidate people and kill free debate is reminiscent of the Sedition Acts - not a free society.” http://governor.mo.gov/cgi-bin/coranto/viewnews.cgi?id=EkkkVFulkpOzXqGMaj&style=Default+News+Style&tmpl=newsitem

2. This is such fucking bullshit. Obama has raised more money, has polling numbers that are inching up
and MO has an extremely popular Dem AG that is running for office. They (the dirty repubs) are just desperate. Lil Matty isn't running for a second term so he's counting on a position in Washington, and Obama is threatening to tumble his little house of cards.

Fuck you, Matt Blunt.

6. NOTHING the blunts do makes sense. Content aside, the office has a history
of putting out horribly butchered press releases full of editing mistakes. Well, actually I don't think they've been edited in the first place.

3. He seems to be whining that Obama is not afraid to call him

on his nonesense and will not let them get away with misleading and clearly wrong ads and other low down tricks. So he is trying to claim Obama and his campaign want to suppress free speech or dissent when they attack him and he fights back. It is actually quite funny I guess he is under the delusional that Obama will be a pushover. Not.

8. It's bullshit. See news story here:
"On Wednesday, Obama’s Missouri campaign announced U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill would lead a group of Democratic lawmakers, prosecutors and one sheriff “who will be proactive in letting voters in the Show-Me State know the truth in the face of the distortions by the McCain campaign,” according to a news release. . . .

They never said they would invoke their powers, but Republicans say just attaching their law enforcement titles to their names for political reasons gives off a perception of a police state.

. . . But a review of McCain’s own truth squads shows he has a district attorney from New Mexico and the South Carolina attorney general ready to respond to misleading ads from Obama and Democrats in their respective states.

13. Claire McCaskill and the St. Louis Attorney's pulled a coup on the
Republican party. Blunt and his hooded brethren were preparing to run Reverend Wright and other video falsities nonstop against Obama. Claire beat his ass to the punch and the attorney's who have her back formed a statewide agreement to stop the Republicans. This state that is infamous for running black people out of towns at sundown is now in play to give its electorate votes to a black man. If McCaskill can deliver Missouri this will send a loud and thunderous message to the RNC that the DNC just beheaded them. McCaskill intends on delivering. She, Sebelius and Napalitano are the real stars of the party.
