Hell freezes over again - David Brooks -"I never thought McCain can win"
Edited on Sat Sep-27-08 12:24 AM by NRaleighLiberal
"didn't run a very good campaign, terrible year for Republicans, it will take a major surprise to change things"

Wow! Must have been painful for Brooks to burp that out! Just stated on Charlie Rose, PBS

They are all wondering if the Financial Crisis is the thing that McCain can somehow get on his side to push him over...most of them think that McCain loses on it no matter what.

1. If McCain votes No and Obama votes Yes on the bailout...
...that will probably be enough for McCain to win.

If McCain votes Yes, then Obama will win.

6. He might have said he would vote yes to trick Dems
Republicans will lie to set a trap, we've seen it many times - even a few times this week.

8. Actually, don't they vote by state?
In which case, the results are the same, as Arizona comes before Illinois.

3. Nice!
I like to hear the begrudging admission of the reality at this point in time.

Of course, our work is just beginning - they are not going to just give this up that easily!
