Not the partisan, and not the Democrat but the person who doesn't really like politics much but will watch the debate and not much more.

I have no idea.

2. If CNN's meter is any indicator, they weren't impressed with either
candidate, but a bit more positive toward Obama.

3. yawn
I think it is an Obama win and they will see it that way..both where a bit long winded and McCain was on the defensive a lot. They both stumbled a bit..the moderator sucked. The morning fact checkers should be hitting McCain pretty hard ..that will help.

5. I think if I were totally uninvolved and clueless as to the backgrounds of
either of these men, I'd think they both did well.

My problem is that knowing what I know about McCain, I'm aware of what he's claiming is bullshit and totally skewing his stances and past actions.

But if I didn't know that, I'm not sure how I would judge them, except I do know I'd be leaning toward Obama.

8. My husband is a dreaded "moderate" Democrat
and he said it was evenly matched until the last 20 minutes, then Obama blew McCain out of the water.
