McCain must have taken his "high meds" tonight....
he's much more prepared with Liberal/Progressive Talking Points than I would have ever thought of him.

I think that we underestimated him and we need to be much more wary about how he can sound to his "base." Remember, we might see Caribou Barbie for what she is ...but the average American tuning in..whose now clued in might see something very different from this debate than we Dems would see from it.

Just Saying. I think Obama has made some very good points and to attack McCain on that stage wouldn't be good. But, McCain seemed to have been "prepped" very well. I think we underestimated him...since he has seemed a dottering old fool..on verge of Alzheimers or dementia.

We underestimated. Let's make sure we don't do it again. And, I'm sure we won't.

2. McCain is doing poorly.
He keeps repeating the same few talking points, he's scowling and sighing, won't look at Obama.

When you say "we" underestimated, which we do you mean?

4. I noticed the repetition too, and he keeps saying
"the point is" over and over again.

3. To me he's using the same schtick he always does..
which is why he wanted the town hall style debates so he could tell his schmaltzy stories about soldiers and get some audience reaction. They wither on the vine in this format and seem inappropriate somehow. He seems kind of rambling, and he keeps repeating the same phrases over and over.
